Application layer
Application layer is responsible for all application connecting to a network.
Presentation Layer
Presentation layer is resposible for compressing, encrypting and change the format of the data in to a common format.
Session Layer
Session layer is responsible for making the session active between the computers.
Transport Layer
Transport layer is resposible for sequencing, means split the data into small block of packet and set a sequence number. This packet will be transported to the destination computer.
Network Layer
Network layer is responsible for data delivery from one network to another network.
DataLink Layer
Datalink: layer will divide the packet into further and make frame with physical address of the source computer. Error free data delivery is happening with the help of data link layer.
Datalink: layer also responsible for controlling data transfer from one system to another system through physical layer.
Physical Layer
Physical Layer is responsible for all physical media connectivity in the network.(phisical devices)
